1. Purpose
This policy applies to every hosting account and related service purchased from PhilipAKing.com. Hosting is delivered on infrastructure provided by Shock Hosting, whose published Acceptable Use Policy also defines network-level restrictions. Customers must comply with applicable local and hosting-location laws and these service rules.
2. Prohibited activities
Do not use hosted services for phishing, fraud, malware, credential theft, copyright infringement, unlawful content, spam, email or SMS bombing, DDoS activity, unauthorized penetration testing, network or port scanning, open proxies or public relays, cryptocurrency mining, attack/stresser tools, traffic manipulation or other abuse.
Shared hosting may not be used for file lockers, backup repositories, general-purpose media storage, video streaming, content-delivery-network operations or resource-intensive processing. Upstream restrictions also include certain game-server and software workloads. Ask us to review unusual applications before deployment. Do not assume a workload is permitted merely because the control panel allows installation.
3. Shared resource fairness
Storage allowances and traffic features do not provide dedicated compute capacity. CPU, RAM, process count, I/O, mail volume and network usage may be restricted by the upstream platform. Shock Hosting currently publishes an outgoing mail limit of 500 emails per hour per cPanel account; this is an upstream maximum, not a guarantee of deliverability or permission to send unsolicited mail.
All mass email must have valid consent, accurate sender information and an effective unsubscribe process. Persistent overuse may require optimization, upgrade or migration; severe threats may require immediate restriction.
4. Security and software hygiene
You must secure your accounts and maintain updated applications, plugins, themes, credentials and device access. Customers are responsible for their websites and legal rights to hosted materials. Upstream backup copies are emergency best-effort, so maintain your own tested independent backups.
5. Enforcement
Please report suspected breaches to our support portal. We may warn, request remediation, restrict or suspend service, remove unlawful or harmful materials or comply with urgent upstream enforcement where warranted. Customers may ask us to review decisions, but upstream infrastructure restrictions may be outside our power to reverse.
Upstream network rules
Our hosting services operate subject to the applicable infrastructure rules, including the current Shock Hosting Terms and Acceptable Use Policy. These upstream rules can affect what content and workloads can be hosted and when infrastructure access may be restricted. Where they impose a stricter technical or safety restriction, we may need to enforce that restriction to continue providing the service. We will seek to explain material changes or interruptions where reasonably practicable.
For billing, cancellation, support, security concerns and refund requests relating to a purchase from PhilipAKing.com, contact our customer portal first. We will liaise with Shock Hosting when infrastructure assistance is required. Please do not submit PhilipAKing.com billing disputes directly to Shock Hosting.
